Sammy’s Pub, a relative newcomer to the live music scene after just three years, features music every Friday night from a variety of cover bands and occasional original artists. An all ages venue every night until 10pm, with the 21+ crowd taking over after that, people flock to Sammy’s for pizza, burgers, wings, or appetizers (until 11pm), and then often stay for the tunes which usually start at around 8:30pm. A quiet hide-away sort of bar most nights, on Fridays it comes alive when the bands kick in – a dance floor forms and the good times start to roll. Darts and video games round out the entertainment value of the space, where you can expect an easy going, unpretentious crowd and some smiling familiar faces.
